New Headquarters of the Medincus Hearing and Speech Center Opens in Konin

KONIN: The new headquarters of the Greater Poland Hearing and Speech Center Medincus in Konin is now open! This medical clinic specializes in comprehensive diagnostics and treatment of communication disorders (hearing and speech impairments), ear diseases, upper respiratory tract conditions (throat, nose, paranasal sinuses), laryngeal disorders, and voice issues—for both adults and children.

The new Greater Poland Hearing and Speech Center Medincus in Konin guarantees top-tier diagnostic and therapeutic services. The facility offers an extensive range of services, including comprehensive diagnostics of dizziness and balance disorders, complete medical care for hearing, speech, and balance-related issues, and daytime rehabilitation for patients with hearing and balance system disorders—ensuring daily support on the path to recovery.

Scope of Services at the Greater Poland Hearing and Speech Center Medincus

The center diagnoses and treats a wide array of conditions, including: hearing loss (congenital, acquired, deafness), delayed speech development, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, central auditory processing disorders (CAPD), ear diseases (serous otitis media, chronic otitis with granulation and cholesteatoma), tinnitus, dizziness, throat diseases, paranasal sinus infections, nasal obstruction, tonsillar hypertrophy, adenoid hypertrophy, laryngeal diseases, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), voice disorders (functional and organic), and other ENT-related conditions.

Equipment and Facilities

The center is equipped with: consultation rooms for otolaryngological, audiological, and phoniatric evaluations, a hearing prosthetics room, an audiometric testing room, a speech therapy and rehabilitation room, a treatment room with a four-station inhalation facility and electrotherapy equipment (iontophoresis, galvanization, electrostimulation), and a salt grotto with a brine graduation tower offering halotherapy treatments.

The official opening of the new headquarters on Thursday, May 22, 2025, was hosted by Prof. Piotr Skarżyński, MD, PhD, MBA, and Dr. Łukasz Bruski, PhD, M.Eng., who presented the facility and highlighted its role in enhancing regional healthcare. Distinguished guests included:

The Greater Poland Hearing and Speech Center Medincus is now located at 2G Szarych Szeregów Street in Konin. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
